OUR APPROACH

At Gram Chetna Andolan, we work from the soil up. Rooted in hyperlocal realities, we build village-based structures to activate democratic action at the last mile. We call it deep democracy — where every citizen participates, decides, and leads.

MOBILISE

Mobilising Awareness & Participation

We spark a culture of civic engagement by reconnecting people with their local institutions and constitutional rights — starting with the Gram Sabha.

Chetna-Chaupal

Village-level community awareness dialogues to revive democratic conversations on various topics and issues of local and national importance.

Gram Sabha Chalo Abhiyan

A Consultative campaign to mobilize and to enforce the practice of regular and productive Gram-Sabha.

Organising Active Citizens

We help form local active citizen clubs that build leadership from the margins — from women, children, youth, and migrants. These become the everyday champions of rural transformation.
